about
Nordic Winds is perhaps one of my most Fahey-esque tracks with the usage of an open C variant (CGCGCd) and the slow descent into minor chords. I think this track really exemplifies my guitar technique and highlights the influence that American Primitive guitar has had on my music. Behind the gentle guitar playing, slow ambient guitar swells rise and fall with the movement of the track.

Recorded using a late 60s Harmony H165, a Keeley Caverns, a Digidelay, and an OBNE Minim.
Listening to this recording, you can get the sense, the feeling of being the environment, or at the very least, an essential part of it.
A perfect breather from the chaotic pace that MIND may have you enslaved in. Brian Bourassa
Tape and guitar loops combine to create mesmerizing atmospherics, like watching the Northern Lights ripple in the sky. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 16, 2022
A beautifully melancholy collection of beatific, measured drones, subtle, pensive Eno-isms, surreptitious crackling ambiance and sedulously unfolding layered synths that coalesce into a staggering record of darkly tinged splendor! Long dog walks with headphones are highly recommended accompaniments to this LP! brantly
