Full of golden warmth, a perfect balance to a grey rainy morning. Favorite track: Morning through my window.

TheSlowMusicMovement Nudging the folk & warm springtime melodicism above the distant early morning electronic haze the new LP from Black Brunswicker is a lovely fingerpicked, feelgood ambient folk soundtrack, ideal for all sorts of intimate moments & pastoral escapism.

Chris Richards Lockdown restrictions are easing here in the UK. Days are warmer, and new foliage is just starting to appear. What a perfect time to release Temple of Spring. Warm, granular, guitar-based ambient with a touch of nostalgia. This is music for reflective walks in nature or simply sitting watching the world wake again after a long winter. I really like the direction Black Brunswicker is taking with this album. Favorite track: Morning through my window.

about

Temple of Spring is a divergence from past releases as it draws back on ambience and textures in favor of acoustic fingerpicking and warm melodies. It’s music that celebrates the return of the sun after a cold dark northern winter spent locked up.

The tracks in this release are the results of a series of experimentations with tunings, capos/partial capos, and fingerpicking patterns.
